Model: DryEasy Plus Wireless Receiver

1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the DryEasy Plus Wireless Bedwetting Alarm Receiver. This device functions as an additional receiver for the DryEasy Plus wireless bedwetting alarm system. It is designed to be placed in a separate location, such as a parent's room, to alert caregivers when the primary alarm is triggered. It is crucial to note that this receiver is only compatible with the DE300 Ver. 2 transmitter.

It clearly indicates "M/N DE300 (Ver.2) Transmitter" and an "Attention: Only compatible with DE300 Ver. 2 transmitter" label, highlighting the necessary compatibility for this receiver.

2. Setup

2.1 Powering the Receiver

The DryEasy Plus Wireless Receiver can be powered in two ways:

  1. Using AA Alkaline Batteries: Insert two (2) AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity. (Batteries are not included.)
  2. Using a USB Power Adapter: Connect the provided USB cord to the receiver and then to a compatible smartphone adapter. The adapter should have an output of 5Vdc and a current of 0.5A or above. (USB power adapter is not included.)

2.2 Pairing with Transmitter

This receiver must be paired with a DryEasy DE300 Ver. 2 transmitter to function correctly. Please refer to the DE300 Ver. 2 transmitter's instruction manual for detailed pairing procedures. Ensure the transmitter is powered on and within range of the receiver during the pairing process.

2.3 Receiver Placement

For optimal performance and caregiver awareness, place the receiver in a location where the alarm can be easily heard, such as the parent's room. Ensure it is within effective wireless range of the DE300 Ver. 2 transmitter.

3. Operation

3.1 Sound Selection

The receiver offers 6 distinct sounds to prevent the user from becoming accustomed to a single alarm tone. You can choose to:

  • Select a single preferred sound.
  • Set the receiver to play the 6 sounds in a random sequence.

Refer to the receiver's controls for specific instructions on how to cycle through and select sound options.

3.2 Volume Control

The receiver features 4 levels of digital volume control, allowing adjustment to suit different environments and user preferences. The maximum loudness is 85 dB. Adjust the volume using the dedicated controls on the receiver.

3.3 Operation Modes

The DryEasy Plus Wireless Receiver supports three distinct operation modes:

  • Sound Only: The receiver will emit an audible alarm when triggered.
  • Vibration Only: The receiver will vibrate silently when triggered, suitable for discreet alerts.
  • Sound Plus Vibration: The receiver will both emit an audible alarm and vibrate when triggered, providing a comprehensive alert.

Select your desired mode using the mode selection button or switch on the receiver.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Replacement

When the receiver's performance diminishes or the low battery indicator activates (if present), replace the two (2) AA alkaline batteries. Ensure the device is powered off before opening the battery compartment and observe correct polarity when inserting new batteries.

4.2 Cleaning

To clean the receiver, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water. Ensure the device is completely dry before use.
