3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation and Charging
The GMC-500Plus comes with a pre-installed rechargeable Lithium Metal battery. If the battery needs to be replaced or charged, follow these instructions:

To charge the device, connect the provided USB cable to the unit's USB port and then to a power outlet adapter or a computer's USB port. The battery indicator on the display will blink during charging.
3.2 Initial Power On
Press and hold the power button (S4, typically the top-right button) until the device powers on and displays the GQ GMC-500Plus logo. The device will then proceed to the main measurement screen.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Button Functions

4.4 Radiation Measurement
The GMC-500Plus measures radiation in Counts Per Minute (CPM), microSieverts per hour (µSv/h), and milliRoentgens per hour (mR/h). The device is highly sensitive and provides rapid responses to radiation sources.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
The GMC-500Plus uses a rechargeable Lithium Metal battery. If replacement is necessary, ensure the device is powered off.
