  2. Connect the positive (+) wire from the harness to the vehicle's positive battery terminal.
  3. Connect the negative (-) wire (ground) from the harness to a suitable chassis ground point on the vehicle.

Once installed and wired correctly, operate the light bar using the provided switch. Press the switch to turn the light bar ON, and press it again to turn it OFF.

Adjust the aim of the light bar as needed for optimal illumination, ensuring it complies with local driving regulations.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the lens of the light bar with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the lens or finish.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the mounting hardware and wiring connections for any signs of loosening, corrosion, or damage. Tighten any loose bolts and repair or replace damaged wiring as necessary.
  • Lens Condition: Check the lens for cracks or chips. While the light bar is durable, severe impacts can cause damage.

8. Troubleshooting

Light Bar Does Not Turn On:

  • Check Power Connection: Ensure the positive and negative wires are securely connected to the battery and chassis ground, respectively.
  • Inspect Fuse: The wiring harness includes a fuse. Check if the fuse is blown and replace it with a fuse of the same rating if necessary.
  • Verify Switch Function: Test the switch for proper operation.
  • Check Relay: Ensure the relay is functioning correctly and receiving power.
  • Examine Light Bar Connection: Confirm the light bar's connector is fully seated in the harness.

Light Output is Dim or Flickering:

  • Check Voltage: Ensure the vehicle's electrical system is providing adequate voltage to the light bar. Low voltage can affect performance.
  • Inspect Wiring: Look for loose or corroded connections in the wiring harness.
  • Clean Lens: A dirty lens can significantly reduce light output. Clean the lens as described in the Maintenance section.
