5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective blending:

  1. Add Ingredients: Place your desired ingredients into the Diamond Pitcher. Do not exceed the maximum fill line indicated on the pitcher. For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, followed by harder ingredients and ice.
  2. Secure Lid: Ensure the lid is firmly in place on the pitcher and the ingredient cup is twisted to lock.
  3. Select Speed: The control panel features various speed settings and pre-programmed functions.
    • Intelli-Speed Control: Use the speed dial or buttons to select your desired blending speed. The blender will automatically adjust to maintain optimal speed.
    • 'Hot Foods' Button: For blending hot liquids, press the 'Hot Foods' button. The 'Soft Start' feature will begin blending slowly to prevent splashing, then gradually increase speed.
    • Pulse Function: Use the 'Pulse' button for short bursts of power, ideal for chopping or quick mixing.
  4. Start Blending: Press the 'On' button or select a program to begin blending.
  5. Add Ingredients During Blending: If needed, remove the ingredient cup from the lid and add small ingredients while the blender is operating. Replace the ingredient cup immediately.
  6. Stop Blending: Press the 'Off' button or allow the program to complete. Wait for the blades to stop completely before removing the lid or pitcher.

Safety Note: Never operate the blender without the lid securely in place, especially when blending hot liquids.
