Important Safety Instructions

Setup

1. Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

Carefully remove all packaging materials from the coffee maker. Before first use, clean all removable parts (carafe, filter basket) with warm soapy water. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Run at least two full cycles with only water to clean the internal components.

2. Placement

Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.

3. Filling the Water Tank

Open the lid of the water tank. Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water up to the desired number of cups indicated on the water level indicator. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.

  2. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  3. Press the power button (or activate the touch screen interface as per model specifics) to begin the brewing cycle. The indicator light will illuminate.
  4. The coffee maker will automatically brew the coffee. Once brewing is complete, the appliance will switch to a keep-warm function.

2. Keep-Warm Function

The warming plate will keep your coffee hot for a period after brewing. For best taste, it is recommended to consume coffee shortly after brewing.

Maintenance and Cleaning

1. Daily Cleaning

2. Descaling

Mineral deposits from water can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance and taste. Descale your coffee maker regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use (e.g., every 2-4 weeks).

To descale:

  1. Prepare a descaling solution according to the descaler manufacturer's instructions, or use a mixture of white vinegar and water (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water).
  2. Pour the solution into the water tank.
  3. Place the empty carafe on the warming plate.
  4. Run a brewing cycle. After about half the solution has brewed through, turn off the coffee maker and let it sit for 15-20 minutes to allow the solution to work.
  5. Turn the coffee maker back on to complete the brewing cycle.
  6. After the descaling solution has run through, run at least two full cycles with fresh, clean water to rinse the appliance thoroughly.
