Installation

The EasyView 5 is designed for panel mounting. Ensure the chosen location is dry, protected from direct sunlight, and allows for proper ventilation. Cut an opening in the panel according to the provided template (refer to the separate installation guide for precise dimensions). Secure the unit using the supplied mounting hardware.

Connecting to MasterBus

Connect the EasyView 5 to your MasterBus network using a MasterBus cable. The device will automatically detect and configure itself within the system. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the system.

Operating

Powering On and Initial Screen

Navigating the Interface

The EasyView 5 features a touchscreen interface. Swipe left or right to navigate between different information screens. Tap on specific values or icons to access detailed information or settings for that parameter.

  • Main Overview: Displays critical system data such as battery State of Charge (SOC), voltage, current, and AC input status.
  • Menu Icon (three horizontal lines): Accesses the main menu for system settings, device configuration, and advanced functions.
  • Warning Icon (triangle with exclamation): Indicates active alarms or warnings within the system. Tap to view details.

Understanding Displayed Information

The display presents various parameters from your MasterBus devices. For example:

  • SOC (State of Charge): Percentage indicating the remaining capacity of your battery bank.
  • Voltage (V): The electrical potential difference, typically for batteries or AC input.
  • Current (A): The flow of electrical charge, indicating charging or discharging rates.
  • AC Input: Information related to the alternating current power source connected to your system.
  • Charging State: Indicates if the battery is currently being charged.

Maintenance
