Verify that all components are present and undamaged upon unpacking:
- Ariete 909 Red Pizza Oven 220V Smart
- Pizza Stone (pre-installed)
- User Manual
- Pizza paddles (typically two half-circle metal paddles)
4. Setup
- Unpack the Oven: Carefully remove the pizza oven and all accessories from the packaging.
- Placement: Place the oven on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate clearance from walls and other objects for ventilation. Do not place it directly under cabinets.
- First Use Preparation: Before first use, wipe the exterior of the oven with a damp cloth. The pizza stone should not be washed with water. It is recommended to run the oven empty for approximately 10-15 minutes at maximum temperature to burn off any manufacturing residues. Some smoke and odor may be present during this initial process; ensure the area is well-ventilated.
- Power Connection: Ensure the voltage of your electrical outlet matches the oven's requirements (220V). Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Preheating
- Close the oven lid.
- Turn the temperature control knob to the desired setting, typically the maximum setting (5) for pizza.
- The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the oven is heating.
- Allow the oven to preheat for approximately 10-15 minutes until the indicator light turns off, indicating the set temperature has been reached.
5.2 Cooking Pizza
- Prepare your pizza on a lightly floured or semolina-dusted pizza peel.
- Once the oven is preheated, carefully open the lid using the handle.
- Slide the pizza onto the hot pizza stone. Close the lid immediately.
- Set the timer knob to the desired cooking time. For most pizzas, 4 minutes at maximum temperature is sufficient. Cooking times may vary based on dough thickness and toppings.
- Monitor the pizza through the cooking process. You may need to rotate the pizza halfway through cooking for even browning, using the provided pizza paddles.
- When cooking is complete, carefully remove the pizza using the pizza paddles.
- Close the lid to maintain heat for subsequent pizzas or turn off the oven.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Always unplug the oven and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
6.1 Cleaning the Pizza Stone
- Do not use water or detergents on the pizza stone. The stone is porous and will absorb liquids, which can cause it to crack during subsequent heating.
- Once the stone is completely cool, use a plastic scraper or a stiff brush to remove any burnt-on food residues.
- Any discoloration on the stone is normal and will not affect performance.
6.2 Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
- Ensure no water enters the electrical components.
7. Troubleshooting
