4. Operating Instructions
Once properly installed, the Ampeak 2000W Power Inverter is ready for use.
4.1 Powering On/Off
- Ensure all devices are unplugged from the inverter before powering on.
- Flip the ON/OFF switch on the inverter to the 'ON' position. The LCD display will illuminate.
- To power off, flip the ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.
4.2 Understanding the LCD Display
The LCD display provides real-time information about the inverter's status:
- Input Voltage: Displays the current DC input voltage from the battery.
- Output Voltage: Shows the AC output voltage (110V AC).
- Battery Level: Indicates the remaining battery charge.
- Load Level: Displays the current power draw of connected devices.
- Error Codes: Alerts to specific protection activations (e.g., low voltage, overload).

4.3 Connecting Devices
- AC Outlets: Plug your 110V AC devices into the three standard AC outlets. Ensure the total continuous power draw does not exceed 2000W (or 1760W for optimal efficiency).
- USB Ports: Use the two 3.1A USB ports to charge smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices.
- DC Cigarette Lighter: The DC cigarette lighter port can power compatible 12V DC accessories.

4.4 Power Efficiency Note
When utilizing an inverter, it's essential to consider the conversion efficiency. This 2000-watt inverter boasts a conversion efficiency exceeding 88%. In practical terms, this means that 2000 watts multiplied by 88% equals 1760 watts, indicating that this inverter can effectively handle loads below 1760 watts.
4.5 Smart Cooling Fan
The inverter features a smart temperature-controlled silent fan. When connected, the fan will briefly activate for 1-2 seconds for a self-check. The fan will then operate quietly and automatically engage when the internal temperature exceeds 122°F (50°C) to prevent overheating.
