3.2 Cleaning the Device

To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean the label maker:

4. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your P-Touch Cube, refer to the following common solutions:

4.1 Device Not Powering On

  • Ensure the AC adapter is securely connected to both the label maker and a working electrical outlet.
  • If using batteries, check that they are correctly inserted and not depleted. Replace if necessary.

4.2 Bluetooth Connection Issues

  • Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone/tablet.
  • Ensure the label maker is powered on and within close proximity (within 5-6 feet) of your mobile device.
  • Restart both the label maker and your mobile device.
  • If the device was previously paired, try "forgetting" the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings and re-pairing.

4.3 Printing Problems

  • Blank Labels: Check that the TZe tape cassette is correctly inserted and that there is tape remaining.
  • Poor Print Quality: Ensure the tape compartment is clean. Try a new tape cassette.
  • Tape Jams: Power off the device, open the tape compartment, and carefully remove any jammed tape. Reinsert the cassette correctly.
  • Excess Tape Waste: The printer may leave a margin. Adjust label length settings in the app to minimize waste if possible, or trim manually with scissors after printing.

  • Ensure your P-touch Design&Print2 App is updated to the latest version.
  • Restart the app or your mobile device.
  • If issues persist, try reinstalling the app.
