Setup

1. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the NX1s. Connect the Micro USB cable to the "Charge" port on the amplifier and to a 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included) or a PC's USB port (0.5A). The indicator light will show charging status. A full charge provides approximately 40 hours of playback.
2. Connect Audio Source: Use the provided 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable to connect your audio source (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the 3.5mm input jack on the NX1s.
3. Connect Headphones: Plug your headphones into the 3.5mm output jack on the NX1s.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Rotate the volume knob clockwise to power on the device. Rotate counter-clockwise until it clicks to power off.
2. Volume Adjustment: Adjust the volume by rotating the volume knob. Start with a low volume and gradually increase to a comfortable listening level.
3. Gain Setting: Use the "Gain" switch to select between 0dB (low gain) and 8.7dB (high gain).
   • Use 0dB gain for sensitive headphones or when the audio source output is already strong.
   • Use 8.7dB gain for less sensitive headphones or when more amplification is required.
4. Bass Boost: Use the "Bass" switch to enable or disable bass boost.
   • Select 0dB bass for a neutral sound profile.
   • Select 4.0dB bass to enhance low-frequency response.

Maintenance

• Keep the device dry. Do not expose it to moisture or liquids.
• Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Troubleshooting

• No Sound:
  • Ensure the device is powered on and fully charged.
  • Check all cable connections (audio source to amplifier, amplifier to headphones).

• Distorted Sound:
  • Reduce the volume on the amplifier or audio source.
  • If using high gain, try switching to low gain (0dB).
  • Ensure the audio cables are securely connected and not damaged.
• Device Not Charging:
  • Ensure the Micro USB cable is properly connected.
  • Try a different USB power adapter or PC USB port.
