2. Safety Information

Operating a drone requires attention to safety. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in injury, damage to property, or legal issues.

• Age Recommendation: This product is recommended for users aged 14 years and up.
• Flight Environment: Operate the drone in open, clear areas, away from people, animals, buildings, and power lines. Avoid flying in strong winds.
• Battery Safety: Use only the specified Li-Poly 3.7V 500mAh battery. Do not overcharge, puncture, or expose batteries to extreme temperatures. Discontinue use if batteries show signs of damage or swelling.

5. Setup

5.1. Battery Charging (Drone)

4. The charging indicator light on the USB cable will illuminate during charging and turn off (or change color) when fully charged.
5. Charging typically takes approximately 60-90 minutes. Do not leave batteries unattended while charging.

5.2. Battery Installation (Drone)

1. Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the USB cable.
2. Carefully insert the battery into the drone's battery compartment, ensuring the connector is properly aligned.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.3. Battery Installation (Remote Control)

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Insert the required batteries (typically AA, not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.4. Propeller Installation

The drone comes with interchangeable blades. Ensure they are installed correctly. Each propeller is marked (e.g., A or B) and must match the corresponding motor arm. Incorrect installation will prevent proper flight.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Pairing the Drone and Remote Control

1. Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
2. Turn on the drone's power switch. The drone's LED lights will flash.
3. Turn on the remote control's power switch.
4. Push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then pull it all the way down. The remote control will beep, and the drone's LED lights will become solid, indicating successful pairing.

6.2. Wi-Fi Connection (for FPV)

1. After pairing the drone and remote, go to your smartphone's Wi-Fi settings.
2. Locate and connect to the Wi-Fi network named "Ultradrone_XXXXXX" or similar (refer to the drone's specific Wi-Fi name).
3. Open the installed Ultradrone app. You should see the live video feed from the drone's camera.

6.3. Basic Flight Controls

• Take-off: After pairing, gently push the left joystick (throttle) upwards. The drone will ascend.
• Landing: Gently pull the left joystick (throttle) downwards. The drone will descend and land.
• Forward/Backward: Push the right joystick forward or backward.
• Left/Right Sideways Flight (Strafe): Push the right joystick left or right.
• Rotate (Yaw): Push the left joystick left or right to rotate the drone on its vertical axis.
• Trim Adjustment: If the drone drifts in any direction, use the trim buttons on the remote control to fine-tune its stability.

6.4. Headless Mode

Headless Mode simplifies flight by eliminating the need to distinguish the drone's front from its rear. When activated, the drone will move relative to the remote control's orientation. For example, pushing the right joystick forward will always make the drone fly away from you, regardless of which way the drone is facing.

• Activation: Press the Headless Mode button on the remote control. The drone's LED lights may flash or change color to indicate activation.
• Deactivation: Press the Headless Mode button again.

6.5. Camera Operation (Photos & Videos)

With the Wi-Fi connection established and the app open, you can control the camera functions:

• Take Photo: Press the dedicated photo button on the remote control or within the app interface.
• Start/Stop Video: Press the dedicated video button on the remote control or within the app interface to start recording. Press again to stop.
