3. Setup Guide

3.1 Assembling the Keyboard Stand

The sturdy metal H-style stand is designed for stability and adjustability. Assemble the stand according to the diagrams provided in the separate assembly sheet. Ensure all screws are tightened securely. The stand offers 3-position adjustable height functionality: 22 inches, 24-1/2 inches, and 27 inches. Select the height that provides comfortable playing posture.

3.2 Assembling the Piano Bench

The cushioned piano bench features sturdy metal construction and is foldable for easy storage. Unfold the bench and ensure it is stable before use. It is designed to provide comfortable seating during your practice sessions.

3.3 Powering the Keyboard

Your Hamzer keyboard can be powered in two ways:

• AC Power Adapter: Plug the US-standard DC 9V/AC adapter into the wall outlet and connect it to the keyboard's power input jack.
• Batteries: For portable use, insert 6 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the underside of the keyboard.

3.4 Applying Key Labels (Optional)

A complete set of transparent stickers is included to label the piano keys. These labels can simplify and accelerate piano mastery for beginners. Carefully peel and apply each sticker to the corresponding key as indicated on the sticker sheet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Functions

• Power On/Off: Locate the red power button on the left side of the control panel to turn the keyboard on or off.
• Master Volume: Adjust the overall volume using the Master Volume controls.
• Accompanying Volume: Control the volume of the accompaniment tracks separately.
• Tempo Adjustment: Modify the speed of rhythms and demo songs using the Tempo controls.

4.2 Timbres, Rhythms, and Demo Songs

Your keyboard features 255 Timbres (instrument sounds), 255 Rhythms, and 24 Demonstration Songs. Use the numerical keypad and dedicated buttons to select your desired timbre, rhythm, or demo song. Refer to the printed list on the keyboard's control panel for specific codes.

4.3 Recording and Playback

The keyboard allows you to record and playback your performances. Use the 'REC' button to start recording and 'PLAY' to listen back. This feature is useful for reviewing and improving your playing.

4.4 Microphone and Headphones

Connect the included microphone to the audio input jack to sing along while playing. Use the included headphones by plugging them into the headphone jack for private practice sessions without disturbing others. Stereo outputs are also available for connecting to external speakers.
