4. Maintenance
4.1. Cleaning the Monitor
To clean the monitor screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a non-abrasive screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, alcohol, or ammonia-based cleaners, as these can damage the screen surface.
4.2. General Care
To ensure the longevity of your monitor:
- Avoid placing heavy objects on the monitor or its cables.
- Do not expose the monitor to direct sunlight, excessive heat, or extreme cold.
- Keep the monitor away from liquids and excessive dust.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the monitor to prevent overheating.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common solutions:
- No Power: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and a working electrical outlet. Check if the power indicator light is on.
- No Signal: Verify that the video cable (DisplayPort or HDMI) is correctly connected to both the monitor and your computer. Ensure the correct input source is selected in the OSD menu. Try restarting your computer.
- Image Quality Issues (Blurry/Distorted): Check the display resolution settings on your computer to ensure they match the monitor's native resolution (2560 x 1440). Adjust OSD settings like sharpness or picture mode.
- Screen Tearing/Stuttering: Ensure NVIDIA G-SYNC is enabled in your NVIDIA control panel and that your monitor is connected via DisplayPort.
- No Sound from Audio Output: Verify that external speakers or headphones are properly connected to the monitor's audio output jack. Check the volume settings on both the monitor and your computer.
