4. Installation and Wiring
4.1 Basic Wiring Method
The switch uses a 5-pin configuration. Refer to the diagram below for standard wiring connections.

4.2 Wiring for LED Illumination
There are two common methods for wiring the LED illumination on the switch:
- Wiring Method 1: The lower LED remains ON when power is supplied to the switch. The upper LED illuminates when the switch is turned ON.
- Wiring Method 2: The lower LED illuminates only when the switch is turned to the ON position.

4.3 High Amperage Circuit Diagram
For high amperage applications, it is recommended to use a relay. The diagram below illustrates a typical setup:
- Pin 30: High Power Feed
- Pin 85: Relay Coil Ground
- Pin 86: Relay Coil Feed (Trigger Wire)
- Pin 87: High Power Output (Normally Open Contact)

6. Maintenance
The Nilight 90001B rocker switch requires minimal maintenance. Keep the switch and connections clean and dry to ensure optimal performance. Periodically check wiring connections for tightness and inspect for any signs of wear or corrosion. Avoid using harsh chemicals for cleaning; a damp cloth is sufficient.
7. Troubleshooting
- Switch Not Illuminating: Verify that the power supply is connected correctly and that the wiring for the LED illumination follows one of the methods described in Section 4.2. Check for loose connections or blown fuses in the circuit.
- Device Not Activating: Ensure all wiring connections from the switch to the device and power source are secure. Confirm that the device itself is functioning correctly and that the power supply meets its requirements. Check for any short circuits or open circuits.
- Intermittent Operation: Inspect all terminals and wires for corrosion or damage. Ensure the switch is firmly seated in its mounting panel.
