3. Setup

3.1 Attaching the Blower Tube

3.2 Installing the Battery Pack

This Ryobi 40V Jet Fan Blower is a bare tool and does not include a battery or charger. It is compatible with all Ryobi 40V lithium-ion batteries, including models RY4030, RY4040, and RY4050.

  1. Ensure the blower is turned off.
  2. Slide a charged Ryobi 40V lithium-ion battery pack into the battery port on the blower until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, press the battery release latch and slide the battery pack out.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Starting and Stopping

To start the blower, ensure a charged battery is installed, then press the variable speed trigger. To stop, release the trigger.

4.2 Variable Speed Control

The blower features a variable speed trigger. Press the trigger lightly for lower air speed and press it fully for maximum air speed. This allows you to match the power to the application, from delicate clearing to heavy-duty debris removal.

4.3 Turbo Button

For maximum power, press the Turbo button located on the handle while operating the blower. This will temporarily boost the air speed to 110 MPH and air flow to 480 CFM for stubborn debris.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your Ryobi blower.

  • Cleaning: Keep the air intake vents and blower tube free of debris. Use a dry cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use strong detergents or solvents.
