2. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your MISTRAL MSF1643 Stand Fan. Ensure all parts are present before beginning assembly.
2.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2.2 Assembly Steps
- Base Assembly: Attach the stand pole to the fan base, ensuring it is securely fastened.
- Height Adjustment: Insert the adjustable pole into the stand pole. The fan's height can be adjusted up to 132 cm (approximately 52 inches) by loosening and tightening the height adjustment knob.
- Motor Unit Attachment: Secure the motor unit to the top of the adjustable pole.
- Rear Guard and Blade Installation: Attach the rear guard to the motor unit. Then, place the fan blade onto the motor shaft, ensuring it is correctly oriented and secured with the blade cap.
- Front Guard Installation: Position the front guard over the fan blade and secure it to the rear guard using the provided guard ring with clips. Ensure all clips are firmly closed to prevent accidental opening.

3. Operating Instructions
Once assembled, your MISTRAL MSF1643 Stand Fan is ready for use. Familiarize yourself with the control panel for optimal operation.
3.1 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet voltage matches the fan's specifications.

3.3 Speed Selection
The fan features 3-speed selections. Press the corresponding button on the control panel to select your desired speed:
- Button 1: Low speed
- Button 2: Medium speed
- Button 3: High speed
- Button 0: Turns the fan off.
3.4 Timer Function
The fan is equipped with a 2-hour timer. Rotate the timer dial clockwise to set the desired operating time (up to 120 minutes). The fan will automatically switch off once the set time has elapsed. To operate continuously, set the timer to the 'ON' position (0).
3.5 Oscillation
To activate the oscillation function, push down the oscillation knob located on top of the motor housing. To stop oscillation, pull the knob up.
4. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your fan.
4.1 Cleaning
- Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- To clean the fan blades, unclip the front guard ring and remove the front guard. Carefully wipe the blades with a damp cloth. Ensure the blades are completely dry before reassembling.
- Do not immerse the fan in water or allow water to drip into the motor housing.
- The guard ring with clips allows for easy disassembly of the fan guards for thorough cleaning of the blades.
4.2 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the fan in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, to protect it from dust and damage.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your MISTRAL MSF1643 Stand Fan, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
