2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
The Little Live Pets Duck and Baby Pack requires 3 LR44 batteries (included). Follow these steps to install or replace batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of each duck.
- Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 3 new LR44 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
Important: Always use fresh batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
2.2 Initial Activation
After battery installation, locate the ON/OFF switch on each duck. Slide the switch to the "ON" position to activate the toy. The ducks may make a sound to indicate they are active.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Basic Interaction
The Little Live Pets ducks are designed for interactive play. They respond to touch and sound.
- Petting: Gently pet the duck's back to hear it make sounds.
- Talking: Speak to the mother duck. She can record and repeat short phrases in her own voice.
3.2 Mother and Baby Interaction
The mother and baby ducks are designed to interact with each other. Place them close together to observe their communication.
- When the mother and baby are near each other, they will sing and talk.
- The mother duck can "teach" the baby duck to sing, enhancing their interactive play.
- The closer they are, the more frequently they will interact.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
