3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove the loudspeaker from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage that may have occurred during shipping. Retain the original packaging for future transport or storage. The box should contain the QSC K10.2 loudspeaker and a power cable. Optional accessories like an Auray SS-47S-PB or SS-4420 speaker stand and an XLR-XLR cable may be included depending on your purchase.
3.2 Placement Options
The K10.2 offers versatile placement options:
- Floor Standing: Place the loudspeaker directly on a stable, flat surface.
- Pole Mounting: Utilize the dual pole mount cup on the bottom of the speaker for mounting on a speaker stand. The cup allows for either a direct vertical mount or a 7.5-degree downward tilt for optimal audience coverage.
- Monitor Position: The cabinet design allows for use as a floor monitor.

3.3 Connecting Audio Sources
The K10.2 features a versatile input panel:
- Mic/Line Inputs (XLR/TRS Combo): Connect microphones or line-level devices using XLR or 1/4" TRS cables. Use the MIC/LINE switch to select the appropriate input sensitivity.
