Product Components

Setup

Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
Battery Installation: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the lid. Insert four (4) D-size batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.
Lid Placement: Place the sensor-activated lid onto the stainless steel body, ensuring it is seated correctly and securely.
Initial Activation: Press the red ON/OFF button, usually located near the battery compartment or on the back of the lid, to activate the sensor. The bin is now ready for use.
Trash Bag Installation: Lift the inner retaining ring. Place a 35L trash bag into each compartment, folding the edges of the bag over the top rim of the compartment. Lower the retaining ring to secure the bag in place and conceal the bag edges.

Operating Instructions

Hands-Free Sensor Operation

The Homra Qubix bin features a hands-free motion sensor for hygienic operation.

To open the lid, simply wave your hand approximately 10-15 cm above the sensor located on the front of the lid.
The lid will open automatically and remain open for a few seconds.
After a short delay, the lid will close automatically and silently using its soft-close mechanism.
For extended opening, some models may feature an "OPEN" button. Pressing this button will keep the lid open until the "CLOSE" button is pressed.

Waste Separation

This bin is designed with two separate 35-liter compartments to facilitate efficient waste separation.

Designate each compartment for a specific waste type (e.g., plastics, paper, general waste).
Ensure appropriate trash bags are used for each compartment.

Maintenance
