3. Product Features

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Attaching the Fluid Head

1. Unpack the KH-6750 fluid head and the MP3008 monopod.
2. Locate the mounting screw on top of the monopod. It supports both 1/4" and 3/8" threads. Use the included Allen wrench to switch between thread sizes if necessary.
3. Align the base of the fluid head with the monopod's mounting screw.
4. Rotate the fluid head clockwise until it is securely tightened onto the monopod. Ensure it is firm but do not overtighten.

4.2 Deploying the Folding Support Stand Base

1. With the monopod upright, locate the folding base at the bottom.
2. Gently pull each of the three support legs outwards until they click into their locked position.
3. Ensure all three legs are fully extended and locked for maximum stability.

4.3 Mounting Your Camera

1. Detach the quick release plate from the KH-6750 fluid head by pressing the release button and sliding the plate out.
2. Attach the quick release plate to the bottom of your camera or camcorder using the 1/4" screw. Tighten securely.
3. Slide the camera with the attached quick release plate back into the fluid head until it locks into place. Verify that the camera is securely mounted before use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Adjusting Monopod Height

The monopod features 4 sections with twist locks for height adjustment:

1. To extend a section, twist the lock counter-clockwise to loosen it.
2. Pull the leg section to the desired height.
3. Twist the lock clockwise to tighten and secure the section.
4. Repeat for all sections until the desired height is achieved. Ensure all locks are securely tightened before placing equipment on the monopod.

5.2 Using the KH-6750 Fluid Head

• Panning: Loosen the panning lock knob (usually at the base of the head) to allow horizontal rotation. Tighten to secure.
• Tilting: Loosen the tilt lock knob (on the side of the head) to allow vertical tilting. Adjust the camera angle and tighten the knob to secure.
• Handle Bar: Use the non-skid handle bar for precise control during panning and tilting movements.

5.3 Utilizing the Folding Base

The folding base provides additional stability, allowing the monopod to stand independently or offer a wider footprint for support.

• When deployed, the base allows for limited independent standing. Always monitor your equipment, especially with heavier cameras, as the monopod is not a full tripod.
• The 360-degree rotating mechanism in the base allows for smooth movement while maintaining ground contact.
• To fold the base for transport, press the release buttons (if present) or push the legs inwards until they are flush with the monopod shaft.

• Cleaning: Wipe down the monopod and fluid head with a soft, dry cloth after each use. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Lubrication: The fluid head mechanism is factory-lubricated. Do not attempt to lubricate internal components unless specifically instructed by the manufacturer.
• Storage: Store the monopod in its carrying bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
