3. Programming Instructions
This key fob is self-programmable, provided you have at least one existing working key for your vehicle. Follow these steps carefully:
- Enter your vehicle and close all doors.
- Insert your existing working key into the ignition.
- Turn the ignition key from OFF to ON and back to OFF at least six times within 10 seconds. The hazard warning lights should flash. If they do not flash, repeat the process.
- Remove the key from the ignition.
- Within 5 seconds, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position.
- Press any button on the new key fob once. The hazard warning lights should flash again to confirm successful programming.
- To program additional key fobs (up to 4 total), repeat step 6 for each additional remote within 5 seconds of the previous one.
- To exit programming mode, turn the ignition key to the OFF position or open a door.
Note: If the programming process is not completed correctly, the key fob may not function. Some users have reported success even if the hazard lights do not flash during step 3, but it is generally an indicator of entering programming mode. Ensure all steps are followed precisely.

5. Maintenance: Battery Replacement
If your key fob's range decreases or it stops responding, the battery may need replacement. This key fob uses a CR2032 3-volt coin cell battery.
- Locate the small slot on the side or bottom edge of the key fob casing.
- Carefully insert a small flat-head screwdriver or a similar thin tool into the slot.
- Gently twist the screwdriver to pry open the two halves of the key fob casing.
- Once opened, locate the coin cell battery.
- Use the screwdriver or your fingernail to carefully lift the old battery out of its compartment.
- Insert the new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing down (or as indicated by the battery compartment markings).
- Align the two halves of the key fob casing and press them firmly together until they snap securely into place.
- Test the key fob's functionality.

- Re-attempt the programming procedure (refer to Section 3).
- Verify that the key fob is compatible with your vehicle's year and model.
- Reduced Range:
- This often indicates a low battery. Replace the CR2032 battery.

- Buttons Not Functioning Correctly:
- Check for physical damage to the buttons or internal components.
- Ensure the casing is properly closed after battery replacement.
