3. Programming Instructions

This key fob is self-programmable, provided you have at least one existing working key for your vehicle. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Enter your vehicle and close all doors.
  2. Insert your existing working key into the ignition.
  3. Turn the ignition key from OFF to ON and back to OFF at least six times within 10 seconds. The hazard warning lights should flash. If they do not flash, repeat the process.
  4. Remove the key from the ignition.
  5. Within 5 seconds, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position.
  6. Press any button on the new key fob once. The hazard warning lights should flash again to confirm successful programming.
  7. To program additional key fobs (up to 4 total), repeat step 6 for each additional remote within 5 seconds of the previous one.
  8. To exit programming mode, turn the ignition key to the OFF position or open a door.

Note: If the programming process is not completed correctly, the key fob may not function. Some users have reported success even if the hazard lights do not flash during step 3, but it is generally an indicator of entering programming mode. Ensure all steps are followed precisely.
