You will still be able to hear important sounds such as traffic, sirens, and your motorcycle's engine. If you use a communication system, the earplugs are designed to allow clear audio transmission, enhancing your ability to communicate with fellow riders or listen to navigation instructions without excessive background noise.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and hygiene of your Alpine MotoSafe Race Earplugs, regular cleaning is recommended. The earplugs are reusable up to 100 times.

  • Clean the earplugs with lukewarm water and mild soap after each use.
  • Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before storing.
  • Store the earplugs in their provided carrying case to protect them from dust and damage.

6. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your earplugs, consider the following:

  • Insufficient Noise Reduction: Ensure the earplugs are inserted correctly and snugly into your ear canal. A poor seal can significantly reduce effectiveness. Re-insert them following the instructions in Section 3.
  • Discomfort: While designed for comfort, initial discomfort may occur. Ensure they are not pushed in too far. The AlpineThermoShape material will adapt to your body heat for a better fit over time.
  • Difficulty Hearing Conversations/Music: The earplugs are designed to filter out harmful noise while allowing speech and music to be heard. If clarity is an issue, verify proper insertion.
