4. System Requirements

  • PCI Express-compliant motherboard with one dual-width x16 graphics slot.
  • Minimum 600 Watt power supply with an available 6-pin PCI-E power connector and an available 8-pin PCI-E power connector.
  • 350 MB of available hard disk space.
  • 4GB system memory (8GB or more recommended).
  • Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 8, or Windows 7 (32/64-bit).
  • CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive or internet connection for driver installation.

5. Setup and Installation

  1. Prepare Your System: Power off your computer and unplug the power cord. Open your computer case.
  2. Locate PCI Express Slot: Identify an available PCI Express x16 slot on your motherboard. This card requires a dual-width slot.
  3. Remove Existing Graphics Card (if applicable): If you are replacing an old graphics card, carefully remove it by unscrewing its retaining screw and releasing the PCI-E slot latch.
  4. Install the Graphics Card: Align the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti with the PCI Express x16 slot. Press down firmly until the card is securely seated and the slot latch clicks into place. Secure the card with the retaining screw(s) to the computer case.

  5. Connect Power Cables: Connect the required 6-pin and 8-pin PCI-E power connectors from your power supply to the corresponding ports on the graphics card. Use the provided 6Pin(2) to 8 Pin Adapter if necessary.
  6. Close Case and Connect Display: Close your computer case. Connect your display monitor to one of the available video output ports (DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D) on the graphics card.

  7. Power On: Plug in your computer's power cord and power on the system.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Driver Installation

After installing the hardware, you must install the graphics drivers for optimal performance.

  1. From Driver CD: Insert the provided Driver CD into your optical drive and follow the on-screen instructions.
  2. From NVIDIA Website: For the latest drivers, visit the official NVIDIA website (www.nvidia.com/drivers). Select your product (GeForce, GTX 10 Series, GTX 1080 Ti) and operating system, then download and install the recommended drivers.

6.2 EVGA Precision XOC Software
