  • Ensure all power to the intercom system is disconnected at the main breaker.
  • Verify that you have the correct mounting base/connection support, as it is typically not included with the monitor.
  • Confirm compatibility with your existing VDS system. This monitor may not be compatible with older systems like Fermax 3311 without system upgrades.

5.2. Mounting the Monitor

  1. Secure the mounting base (sold separately) to the wall using appropriate screws and anchors. Ensure it is level and at a suitable height.
  2. Route the necessary VDS wiring through the opening in the mounting base.

Connect the VDS system wires to the terminals on the back of the monitor or the mounting base. Refer to the wiring diagram provided with your VDS system or mounting base for specific connections. Common connections include:

  • L, +: Power supply connections.
  • V, D: Video and data lines for VDS communication.
  • C, F1, F2: Auxiliary function connections (if applicable).

Important: Ensure all connections are secure and correctly polarized to prevent damage to the unit or system.

5.4. Attaching the Monitor

Once wiring is complete, carefully align the monitor with the mounting base and press it firmly into place until it clicks securely. Ensure the handset cable is properly connected.

5.5. System Synchronization/Programming

After physical installation, the monitor may need to be synchronized with the outdoor call panel. This typically involves a programming sequence initiated from the outdoor panel or a specific button combination on the monitor. Consult your VDS system's main unit manual for detailed programming instructions.

6.5. Adjusting Brightness and Volume

Use the rotary controls located on the side of the monitor to adjust the screen brightness and call volume to your preference.
