4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity of your Game of Life board game, follow these simple maintenance tips:

  • Storage: Always store the game components neatly in their designated slots within the box after play. This prevents loss and damage to small pieces like pegs and tokens.
  • Cleaning: Wipe down the gameboard and plastic components with a soft, dry cloth if they become dusty. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the printed surfaces.
  • Handling: Handle cards and money with care to prevent bending, tearing, or creasing.
  • Environment: Store the game in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prevent warping of the board or fading of colors.

5. Troubleshooting

Most issues with The Game of Life are related to understanding the rules or missing components. Here are some common troubleshooting tips:

  • Missing Pieces: If any components are missing upon opening the box, please contact Hasbro Gaming customer support (see Section 7).
  • Rule Disputes: Refer to the included instruction manual for clarification on specific rules. For common house rules or variations, online communities and forums can provide additional guidance.
