The Brook Pocket Auto Catch requires a Bluetooth low-energy compatible smartphone with the Pokémon GO app installed.

3.3. Pairing with Pokémon GO
Follow these steps to connect your Pocket Auto Catch to the Pokémon GO app:
- On the Pocket Auto Catch device, tap the red button until you reach the connection setting (usually the last option).
- Long press the red button to initiate a connection reset.
- While the device screen is still active, open the Pokémon GO app on your smartphone and tap the PokéBall icon to reconnect.
If the device fails to connect:
- Turn off Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- Restart the Pokémon GO app.
- Turn Bluetooth back on.
- Repeat steps 1-3 from the initial pairing instructions above.
Additionally, if connection issues arise after a software update (either phone or device), delete the Pocket Auto Catch from your phone's Bluetooth history and re-pair it within the game.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Automatic Catching and Item Collection
The Pocket Auto Catch automatically attempts to catch Pokémon and spin PokéStops within range. The device provides on-screen visual alerts and vibration feedback for these actions. If both auto-catch and auto-spin functions are enabled, the device prioritizes catching Pokémon.
For PokéStop spinning, the device typically functions when traveling under 14 mph. Pokémon can be caught at higher speeds. Note that the "Auto New Pokemon Caught" function may not work in all regions; new Pokémon might require manual catching.
4.2. Display Icons
The device's screen displays various icons to indicate its status and actions:

- Items collected: Confirms that items have been successfully gathered from a PokéStop.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Battery Life and Charging
The device will indicate when it's time to recharge the battery. With vibration feedback turned off, the battery can last approximately 4 days or more. Regular charging is recommended to ensure continuous operation.
5.2. Connection Stability
The device may disconnect from the Pokémon GO app approximately every 30-45 minutes, regardless of whether the app is in the foreground or background. Be prepared to reconnect as needed using the pairing instructions in Section 3.3.
6. Troubleshooting
- Connection Issues: Ensure your Pokémon GO app is updated to the latest version. If problems persist, delete the device from your phone's Bluetooth history and re-pair it as described in Section 3.3.
- Inconsistent Charging: If the device does not charge reliably with the provided cable, consider using a different USB charging cable.
- Device Not Catching/Spinning: Verify that auto-catch and auto-spin modes are enabled on the device. Check your item bag and Pokémon storage; if they are full, the device cannot collect or catch.
