Product Overview

The Vileda Turbo Spin Mop and Bucket Set is designed for efficient and effortless floor cleaning. Featuring a microfibre mop head with distinct red strands for extra particle pick-up, it effectively removes over 99% of bacteria from your floor with just water. The foot pedal operated wringer allows for perfect moisture control without getting your hands wet, making it suitable for various floor types including tiles and laminate.

Setup and Assembly

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging: the mop handle (telescopic), mop head, and bucket with integrated wringer.
2. Attach Mop Head: Align the triangular mop head with the base of the mop handle and press firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely attached.
3. Adjust Handle Length: The telescopic handle extends from 55 cm to 130 cm. Twist the handle to unlock, extend to your desired length, and twist again to lock.
4. Prepare Bucket: Fill the bucket with water, ensuring not to exceed the "Max" indicator line inside the bucket. Add your preferred floor cleaning solution if desired.

Operating Instructions

Wringing the Mop:

1. Insert Mop: Place the wet mop head into the wringer basket of the bucket.
2. Hold Loosely: Hold the mop handle loosely between your fingers to allow it to spin freely. Ensure the handle is in a vertical position.
3. Activate Foot Pedal: Press the foot pedal 5-10 times to spin the wringer. Continue until the mop head reaches your desired moisture level. More presses result in a drier mop.

Mopping Floors:

• Begin Mopping: Once the mop head has the desired dampness, begin mopping your floors. The triangular head is designed to reach corners and edges effectively.
• Rinse and Repeat: Periodically rinse the mop head in the water and wring it out as needed to ensure continuous cleaning.

Maintenance and Care

• Emptying the Bucket: After use, empty the dirty water from the bucket using the integrated front spout for easy and spill-free disposal.
• Cleaning the Mop Head: The microfibre mop head is machine washable. Remove it from the mop handle and wash at a suitable temperature (refer to care label on mop head, typically up to 60°C). Do not use fabric softener.
• Storing the Set: Store the mop and bucket in a dry place. The telescopic handle can be retracted for compact storage.

Troubleshooting

Mop not wringing effectively:

Ensure the bucket is not filled above the "Max" indicator line. Overfilling can prevent the wringer from operating correctly. Also, ensure the mop handle is held loosely and vertically during wringing.

Mop head not attaching securely:

Verify that the triangular mop head is correctly aligned with the base of the mop handle. Apply firm pressure until you hear a click, indicating it is locked into place.

Handle not extending/retracting:

Check that the telescopic handle is unlocked before attempting to adjust its length. Twist the handle to the unlocked position, adjust, then twist to lock firmly.
