4. Setup
4.1. Charging the Battery Pack
The battery pack is not fully charged at the factory. Before first use, the battery pack must be fully charged.
- Plug the charger into an appropriate outlet.
- Slide the battery pack onto the charger as shown in Figure 4. Ensure it is fully seated.
- The charging indicator light on the charger will illuminate, indicating the charging status. Refer to the charger's specific instructions for light patterns.
- Once charging is complete, remove the battery pack from the charger.

4.2. Installing and Removing the Battery Pack
- To Install: Align the battery pack with the base of the tool and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
- To Remove: Press the battery release button and slide the battery pack out of the tool.
4.3. Installing and Removing Drill/Screwdriver Bits
- To Install: Rotate the chuck collar counter-clockwise to open the chuck jaws. Insert the bit fully into the chuck. Rotate the chuck collar clockwise to tighten the jaws securely around the bit.
- To Remove: Rotate the chuck collar counter-clockwise to loosen the jaws and pull the bit out.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Selecting Speed
The tool has two speed ranges:
- Speed 1 (Low Speed): For high torque applications like screwdriving or drilling large diameter holes.
- Speed 2 (High Speed): For faster drilling with smaller diameter bits.
Use the speed selector switch located on top of the tool to choose the desired speed range.
5.2. Selecting Torque and Mode
The torque/mode selector ring allows you to set the appropriate torque for screwdriving or select drilling modes.
- Screwdriving (1-15): Rotate the ring to a number between 1 and 15. Lower numbers are for small screws or soft materials; higher numbers are for larger screws or harder materials.
- Drill Mode (Drill Icon): For drilling into wood, metal, or plastic. The clutch is bypassed for maximum torque.
- Hammer Drill Mode (Hammer Icon): For drilling into masonry and concrete. This mode combines rotation with a hammering action.

5.3. Forward/Reverse Operation
The forward/reverse switch is located above the trigger. Push it to the left for forward rotation (drilling/tightening screws) and to the right for reverse rotation (removing screws/backing out bits).
5.4. Starting and Stopping the Tool
To start the tool, press the trigger switch. The tool's speed is variable; press the trigger further for higher speed. To stop, release the trigger switch.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Keep the ventilation slots clean to prevent overheating. Use a soft brush or dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Do not use water or chemical cleaners.
