1. Product Overview

3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

The printer comes with a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery. Ensure the battery is correctly installed before first use.

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the printer.
2. Slide the cover open and remove it.
3. Insert the battery into the compartment, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and slide it shut until it clicks into place.

3.3. Charging the Printer

Before initial use, fully charge the printer's 1500mAh battery. The printer can be used for extended periods on a single charge and can also operate while connected to power.

1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the printer's charging port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter or a computer's USB port.
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate (typically red) during charging and change color (or turn off) when fully charged.

4. Operation

4.1. Power On/Off

• To power on: Press and hold the Power button until the indicator light illuminates.
• To power off: Press and hold the Power button until the indicator light turns off.

4.3. Printing a Receipt

After successful pairing, you can print directly from compatible applications on your device.

1. Open the application from which you wish to print (e.g., a POS app, a document viewer).
2. Select the print option within the application.
3. Choose the Redlemon printer from the list of available printers.
4. Confirm print settings (if applicable) and initiate printing.
5. The printer will feed and print the document. Tear off the receipt along the serrated edge.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning the Printer

Regular cleaning helps maintain print quality and extends the printer's lifespan.

• Turn off the printer and disconnect it from power before cleaning.
• Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or isopropyl alcohol to clean the exterior.
• Carefully clean the thermal print head with an alcohol swab. Avoid touching the print head with bare hands.
• Remove any paper dust or debris from the paper compartment.

5.2. Battery Care

To maximize battery life and performance:

• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• Store the printer in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
