4. Setup

4.1 Placement

  • Place the air cooler on a firm, level surface.
  • Ensure there is adequate space around the cooler for proper airflow (at least 20 cm from walls or furniture).
  • For optimal cooling, position the cooler near an open window or door to allow fresh air intake and exhaust of humid air.

4.2 Filling the Water Tank

  • Locate the water inlet on the cooler.
  • Fill the water tank with clean, fresh water up to the 'MAX' level indicator. Do not overfill.
  • The cooler has an auto-fill feature. If connected to a continuous water supply, it will maintain the water level automatically.

5.1 Control Panel Functions

The control panel typically includes knobs or buttons for the following functions:

5.2 Remote Control Operation

The cooler comes with a remote control for convenient operation from a distance. The remote control duplicates the functions available on the main control panel.

  • Point the remote control towards the cooler's receiver.
  • Press the corresponding buttons to adjust settings.

5.3 Using the Ice Chamber

  • Open the ice chamber lid, usually located at the top of the unit.
  • Place ice cubes into the chamber.
  • Close the lid securely. The melting ice will cool the water in the tank, providing colder air.

5.4 Using the Fragrance Chamber

  • Locate the fragrance chamber, typically a small compartment on the side or back.
  • Add a few drops of your preferred water-soluble fragrance to the chamber.
  • Do not use oil-based fragrances directly in the water tank.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air cooler.

6.1 Cleaning the Water Tank

  • Frequency: Clean the water tank every 1-2 weeks, or more often if used frequently.
  • Procedure:
    1. Unplug the cooler from the power outlet.
    2. Drain any remaining water from the tank using the drain plug.
    3. Wipe the inside of the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
    4. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all detergent residue.
    5. Refill with fresh water.

6.2 Cleaning Honeycomb Pads

  • Frequency: Clean the pads monthly or when visible dust/mineral deposits accumulate.
  • Procedure:
