2. Initial Setup
2.1. Package Contents

2.2. Inserting the SIM Card and Battery
Before using your phone, you must insert your SIM card(s) and the battery.
- Remove the Back Cover: Gently pry open the back cover of the phone. A small notch is usually provided at the bottom or side for this purpose.
- Insert SIM Card(s): Locate the SIM card slot(s). Carefully slide your SIM card(s) into the designated slot(s) with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring it clicks into place. Refer to the diagram below for guidance.
- Insert Battery: Align the battery contacts with the terminals inside the phone and gently press the battery into its compartment.
- Replace Back Cover: Place the back cover over the phone and press firmly until it snaps securely into place.

2.3. Charging the Battery
For optimal performance, fully charge the battery before first use.
- Connect the charger to the phone's charging port (USB Type C).
- Plug the charger into a power outlet.
- The charging indicator on the phone will show the charging status.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.
2.4. Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power/End Call button (usually marked with a red phone icon) until the screen lights up.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power/End Call button until the power-off options appear, then select "Power Off" or confirm.
3. Operating Your Phone
3.1. Basic Navigation
The MaxCom CLASSIC MM320 features a physical keypad and a central navigation button for menu access and selection.
- Navigation Key: Use the central 4-way navigation key to scroll through menus and options.
- OK/Select Key: Press the center of the navigation key to confirm a selection.
- Soft Keys: The keys directly below the screen (left and right) perform functions indicated by the text on the screen above them.
- Call Key: Press the green phone icon to make a call or answer an incoming call.
- End Call/Power Key: Press the red phone icon to end a call or return to the home screen. Long press to power on/off.

- To Make a Call: From the home screen, dial the number using the keypad and press the green Call key.
- To Answer a Call: When the phone rings, press the green Call key.
- To End a Call: Press the red End Call key.
3.3. Sending and Receiving SMS Messages
- To Send SMS: Go to Menu > Messages > Write Message. Enter your text and the recipient's number, then send.
- To Read SMS: New messages will appear as notifications. Go to Menu > Messages > Inbox to view.
3.4. Contacts
Store frequently used numbers in your phone's contacts.
- Add New Contact: Go to Menu > Phonebook > Add New. Enter the name and number, then save.
- Search Contact: Go to Menu > Phonebook > Search.
