Operating Instructions

1. Selecting and Editing Photos

  1. Open the Kodak Photo Printer App on your connected device.
  2. Browse your device's photo gallery and select the image(s) you wish to print.
  3. Utilize the app's editing features to apply filters, stickers, card templates, or create collages. You can also adjust brightness and cropping.

2. Printing Process

The printer uses dye sublimation thermal transfer technology, which involves multiple passes to apply different color layers (Yellow, Magenta, Cyan) and a protective laminate layer. Do not touch the photo paper while printing.

  1. After selecting and editing your photo in the app, tap the 'Print' button.
  2. The printer will begin feeding the paper back and forth to apply each color layer. The app will display the current color being applied (e.g., 'Printing Yellow...', 'Printing Magenta...', 'Printing Cyan...').
  3. Once all color layers are applied, the printer will perform a final pass for lamination, protecting the print from fading and moisture.
  4. The finished 4x6 inch photo will be ejected from the printer.
