Setup

2. Attach Suction Cup Mount: Securely attach the suction cup mount to the vehicle's front windshield. Choose a location that does not obstruct your view of the road.
3. Mount the Dash Cam: Slide the Xblitz Ghost Dash Cam onto the suction cup mount until it locks securely.
4. Connect Power: Connect the car charger to the dash cam's USB port and plug the other end into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. The dash cam requires continuous power from the cigarette lighter socket to operate automatically.
5. Adjust Camera Angle: Adjust the camera lens to ensure it captures the desired view of the road ahead.

Operating Instructions

Automatic Operation

The Xblitz Ghost Dash Cam is designed for automatic operation. Once connected to the vehicle's power supply via the cigarette lighter socket:

• Power On: The camera will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.
• Power Off: The camera will automatically power off a few seconds after the vehicle's ignition is turned off.

Manual Operation

• Recording: The camera typically starts recording automatically. If not, press the record button (refer to device layout for button identification) to manually start/stop recording.
• G-Sensor Activation: In the event of a collision or sudden braking, the built-in G-Sensor will automatically detect the event and lock the current video file, preventing it from being overwritten.
• Motion Detection: When the camera is in standby mode, the motion detector will activate recording if it senses movement in front of the lens.
• SOS Function: Manually activate the SOS function to protect the current recording file from being overwritten. Consult the device's physical buttons for the specific SOS button.
• Microphone: The built-in microphone records audio inside the car. This function can usually be toggled on/off via the device's menu settings.

Maintenance

• Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the camera lens. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could scratch the lens.
• Cleaning the Device: Wipe the exterior of the dash cam with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Do not use excessive moisture.
• Memory Card Management: Regularly format your microSD card (at least once a month) to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Back up important recordings before formatting.
• Temperature: Avoid exposing the dash cam to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, for extended periods. This can affect battery life and overall device performance.
