Setup
1. Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove the subwoofer from its packaging. It is recommended to retain the original packaging for future transport.
For optimal performance, place the subwoofer on a solid, level surface. Consider placing it in a corner of the room or along a wall to maximize bass response. Experiment with different positions to find the best sound for your listening environment.

2. Connections
The NS-SW100BL subwoofer connects to your audio receiver or amplifier using a subwoofer cable. Locate the LFE (Low-Frequency Effects) or Subwoofer Output on your receiver.
- Ensure both the subwoofer and your audio receiver are powered off before making any connections.
- Connect one end of the subwoofer cable to the INPUT jack on the rear panel of the NS-SW100BL.
- Connect the other end of the subwoofer cable to the LFE/Subwoofer Output on your audio receiver.
- Plug the subwoofer's power cord into a suitable AC outlet.

Operating the Subwoofer
1. Power On/Off
After making all connections, you can power on the subwoofer.
- Locate the POWER switch on the rear panel (refer to Figure 3).
- Set the switch to the ON position to power on the subwoofer.
- To turn off the subwoofer, set the switch to the OFF position.
Note: This model does not feature an automatic signal-sensing power on/off function. The power must be manually switched or controlled via an external smart plug if automated operation is desired.
2. Adjusting Volume
The subwoofer's volume can be adjusted using the VOLUME knob on the rear panel (refer to Figure 3).
- Start with the volume knob set to a low level (e.g., 3 out of 10).
- Play audio through your home theater system.
- Gradually increase the subwoofer volume until the bass blends seamlessly with your main speakers, providing a balanced sound. Avoid setting the volume too high, which can result in boomy or distorted bass.
Further fine-tuning of bass levels and crossover frequencies may be available through your audio receiver's settings. Consult your receiver's manual for detailed instructions.
Maintenance
Proper care will ensure the longevity and performance of your subwoofer.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive cloths, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the finish.
- Dust: Regularly dust the unit, especially the speaker grille and rear panel, to prevent dust buildup from affecting performance or ventilation.
- Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation openings are not obstructed.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, disconnect it from the power outlet and cover it to protect against dust.
