• Fuel: Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. The fuel tank capacity is 1 liter. Do not use E85 or other alternative fuels.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Starting the Engine

1. Ensure the spark plug wire is securely connected.
2. Push the primer bulb 3-5 times (if equipped) until fuel is visible.
3. Move the throttle lever (if present) to the "FAST" or "START" position.
4. Grip the engine brake lever firmly against the handle. The engine will not start unless this lever is held.
5. Pull the starter rope with a smooth, continuous motion until the engine starts. Do not let the rope snap back.
6. Once started, release the starter rope slowly.

4.2 Adjusting Cutting Height

The cutting height can be centrally adjusted to 5 positions, ranging from 25 mm to 80 mm.

• Ensure the engine is off and the blade has stopped rotating.
• Locate the central height adjustment lever on the mower deck.
• Pull the lever outwards and move it to the desired height setting.
• Release the lever, ensuring it locks into place.

4.3 Mowing Techniques (4-in-1 System)

The Combi 55 SQ offers four cutting options:

• Collection: For a tidy finish, attach the 70-liter grass collector. Empty the bag regularly to maintain collection efficiency.
• Mulching: For returning nutrients to the lawn, insert the mulching plug (if provided) into the rear discharge opening. This finely chops grass clippings.
• Side Discharge: For very tall grass or areas where collection is not required, attach the side discharge chute.
• Rear Discharge: For general mowing without collection, remove the grass collector and mulching plug.

For best results, mow when the grass is dry. Avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass blade length at a time. Overlap each pass slightly to ensure an even cut.

4.4 Stopping the Engine

To stop the engine, release the engine brake lever. The engine will shut off automatically.

• Empty and clean the grass collector regularly.
