Setup

1. Installation

The hizpo 10.1 inch Car Stereo is designed for universal installation, typically fitting a SINGLE-DIN base. Due to the universal nature, additional accessories such as a dash frame kit, wiring harness, radio antenna adapter, or data interface may be required for specific vehicle models. These are not included in the package and are the responsibility of the installer.

Detachable Panel

1. To install or unload the detachable panel, pull gently.
2. Plug connector B into port A. Ensure the connection is secure but avoid pulling too tightly, as this may cause poor contact.

Important: Do not turn on the power during installation and operation of the detachable panel. After assembling the display screen, turn on the original car power supply.

Adjustable Screen Features

• 360° Rotatable Panel: The screen can be rotated to avoid glare and achieve an optimal viewing angle. It can be flipped 360°.
• Horizontal and Vertical Slidable Panel: Adjust the screen's position to prevent blocking air vents or other vehicle controls.
• Tiltable Panel: The inclination angle (left, right, forward, reclining) is 30°, allowing for a comfortable viewing angle.

2. Initial Power On

Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, turn on your vehicle's ignition. The stereo should power on automatically. The system is designed for fast boot-up, accessing the system within 2 seconds.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Controls

• Touchscreen: The 10.1-inch QLED capacitive touchscreen responds to touch gestures for navigation and control.
• Steering Wheel Control (SWC): Connect your vehicle's steering wheel controls to the stereo for convenient operation of music, volume, and other functions. This enhances driving safety.

2. Connectivity

Bluetooth 5.0

The unit features Bluetooth 5.0 for stable and long-distance connections. Pair your smartphone to make calls, stream audio, and display mobile phone battery levels.

Wi-Fi

Connect to Wi-Fi for internet access, app downloads, and online services. When using wireless Android Auto, set your phone's Wi-Fi hotspot band to 5GHz for optimal performance. Note that Wi-Fi will automatically turn off when wireless CarPlay or Android Auto is active, as these functions utilize the radio's hotspot.

USB

Use the provided USB cables to connect external storage devices for media playback or to connect your smartphone for wired Android Auto/CarPlay.

3. Smartphone Integration

Wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto

The car stereo is compatible with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Wireless & Wired Android Auto. Connect your smartphone via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or USB cable to access phone functions directly on the stereo display.

MirrorLink (Screen Mirror)

The pre-installed 'carletter' app allows you to mirror your phone's screen content onto the stereo display. This is useful for apps and content not natively supported by CarPlay or Android Auto. Some video streaming services may not support MirrorLink.

4. Navigation

The unit includes a built-in GPS receiver module with an external GPS antenna. Google Maps is pre-installed as the default GPS map. Users can download offline map data for specific areas for navigation without an internet connection.
