Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your coffee maker.

  • Daily Cleaning: After each use, discard the used coffee filter and grounds. Wash the glass carafe and removable brew basket in warm, soapy water, or place them on the top rack of your dishwasher.
  • Warming Plate: The nonstick warming plate can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth once it has cooled down. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the coffee maker in water or any other liquid.
  • Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits can build up in the coffee maker, affecting performance. To descale, fill the water reservoir with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water. Run a full brew cycle. After the cycle, run two or three cycles with fresh, clean water to rinse thoroughly. Perform descaling every 1-3 months depending on water hardness.
