Setup

1. Charging the Battery

The device is equipped with a high-capacity Li-ion battery. To charge:

  1. Connect the micro USB cable to the device's USB jack.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a computer or a USB power adapter.
  3. The battery indicator on the display will show charging progress.
  4. A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours.

2. Inserting/Removing SD Card (Optional)

The device comes with 1 GB internal memory. For expanded storage, a micro SD card can be used.

  1. Locate the micro SD card slot on the device.
  2. Gently insert the micro SD card until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, push the card slightly until it ejects.

3. Initial Power On

Slide the Power/Hold switch to the 'Power On' position. The device will boot up and display the main menu.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Recording

To start a new recording:

  1. Ensure the device is powered on.
  2. Press the REC button. The recording indicator will light up, and the display will show the recording time.
  3. To pause recording, press the REC/PAUSE button. Press again to resume.
  4. To stop recording, press the STOP button. The recording will be saved automatically.

To play back a recording:

  1. Navigate to the desired recording using the navigation buttons.
  2. Press the PLAY button.
  3. Adjust volume using the volume controls on the side.
