5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the rear of the radio.
- Gently slide or open the cover to reveal the battery slot.

5.2 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the battery.
- Connect the USB cable to the USB Type C port on the radio.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to the provided power adapter.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- The display will indicate charging status. Charging is complete when the indicator changes or turns off.
5.3 Initial Power On and Language Selection
- Press and hold the power button (often integrated with the navigation wheel or a dedicated button) until the display lights up.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
- To turn on: Press and hold the power button.
- To turn off: Press and hold the power button until the display turns off.
6.2 Adjusting Volume
Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the navigation wheel to increase or decrease the volume.
6.3 DAB+ Radio Operation
- Press the DAB/FM button to select DAB+ mode.
- If no stations are found or you wish to rescan, go to the MENU, select 'Scan' or 'Full Scan', and press OK.
- Once scanning is complete, use the navigation wheel (left/right arrows) to browse available stations. Press OK to select a station.

6.4 FM Radio Operation
- Press the DAB/FM button to select FM mode.
- To automatically scan for stations, press and hold the OK button. The radio will scan and stop at the next strong station.
- For manual tuning, use the navigation wheel (left/right arrows) to adjust the frequency step by step.
6.5 Saving Favorite Stations
You can save up to 20 favorite stations for both DAB+ and FM modes.
- Tune to the desired station.
- Press and hold the FAV button.
- Use the navigation wheel to select a preset number (1-20).
- Press OK to save the station.
- To recall a favorite station, briefly press the FAV button, then use the navigation wheel to select the desired preset and press OK.
6.6 Using Headphones
Connect standard 3.5mm headphones to the headphone jack on the side of the radio for private listening. The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
