4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your pressure washer:
- Attach the High-Pressure Hose: Connect one end of the 20-foot high-pressure hose to the outlet on the pressure washer unit and the other end to the trigger gun. Ensure connections are secure.
- Assemble the Wand: Connect the bayonet extension wand to the trigger gun. Then, attach the adjustable vari-spray nozzle to the end of the extension wand.
- Connect Water Supply: Attach the brass garden hose adapter to the water inlet on the pressure washer. Connect your garden hose to this adapter. Ensure the water supply is turned on fully before starting the unit.
- Connect Power: Plug the 35-foot power cord with the GFIC plug into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Prime the Pump: Before turning on the power, squeeze the trigger gun to release air from the system until a steady stream of water flows from the nozzle. This primes the pump and prevents damage.
5. Operating Instructions
Once set up, operate your pressure washer as follows:
- Start the Unit: Turn the power switch to the 'ON' position. The motor will start, and the pump will build pressure.
- Engage the Trigger: Squeeze the trigger on the gun to begin spraying. The safety lock on the trigger gun prevents accidental operation.
- Adjust Spray Pattern: Rotate the adjustable vari-spray nozzle to change the spray pattern from a concentrated jet to a wide fan spray, suitable for different cleaning tasks.
- Use Detergent (Optional): Fill the 14-ounce detergent bottle with pressure washer-safe detergent. Attach it to the trigger gun. The pressure washer will draw detergent and mix it with the water for soap application.
- Cleaning Techniques: Maintain a safe distance from the surface being cleaned to avoid damage. Use a sweeping motion, moving the spray back and forth. For delicate surfaces, use a wider spray pattern and lower pressure.
- Shutting Down: Release the trigger. Turn the power switch to 'OFF'. Turn off the water supply. Squeeze the trigger again to release any remaining pressure in the system.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, refer to these common solutions:
- No Power: Check the GFIC plug for a tripped circuit. Ensure the power cord is fully plugged into a working outlet.
- Low Pressure: Verify the water supply is fully open and the garden hose is not kinked. Ensure all hose connections are tight. Clean the nozzle for any blockages.
- Motor Runs but No Water: Ensure the pump is primed by squeezing the trigger gun with the water supply on and power off until a steady stream of water flows.
- Leaking: Check all connections for tightness. Inspect hoses and O-rings for damage.
