3. Setup

3.1 Connecting the Keyboard

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Keyboard

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your keyboard. Use the included keycap puller to carefully remove keycaps for thorough cleaning of dust and debris.

1. Unplug the keyboard from your computer.
2. Use the keycap puller to gently remove the desired keycaps. Insert the puller under the keycap and pull straight up.
3. Use compressed air to remove dust from between the switches.
4. Wipe keycaps with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
5. Align the keycap with the switch stem and press down firmly until it clicks into place.

5.2 Replacing Keycaps

The package includes 4 spare mechanical keycaps. If a keycap is damaged or you wish to customize your keyboard, follow the keycap removal steps above and replace with a new keycap.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Incorrect Key Layout (e.g., Z/W/Q/S keys acting as arrow keys)

If your keyboard's layout seems incorrect, particularly if certain keys (like Z, W, Q, S) are functioning as arrow keys, this can often be resolved by a simple key combination.

• Press FN + Z simultaneously. This combination typically toggles between different keyboard modes or layouts.

6.2 Backlight Squealing Noise

Some users may experience a faint squealing noise when the backlight is active. This is generally due to the backlight circuitry. If the noise is disruptive, try adjusting the backlight brightness or changing the backlight mode. If the issue persists and is severe, contact customer support.

6.3 Keys Not Responding or Double-Typing

If individual keys are not responding consistently or are registering multiple inputs with a single press, try the following:

• Clean the affected key switch area using the keycap puller and compressed air as described in the Maintenance section.
• Gently remove the keycap and then carefully remove the switch itself (if the keyboard supports hot-swappable switches). Reinsert the switch firmly. Caution: Do not force the switch. If unsure, consult professional help.
