Setup and Installation

Before you begin, ensure you have the necessary tools: adjustable wrench, plumber's putty or silicone sealant, screwdriver, and a basin wrench (if needed).

  1. Prepare the Sink: Turn off the hot and cold water supply valves under the sink. If replacing an old faucet, remove it and clean the sink surface thoroughly.
  2. Install the Faucet: Place the faucet body through the single hole in the sink or countertop. Ensure the gasket or escutcheon (if included) is properly seated on the sink surface. From underneath the sink, secure the faucet using the provided mounting hardware (washer and mounting nut). Tighten firmly but do not overtighten.
  3. Connect Water Supply Lines: Attach the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding inlets on the faucet. Connect the other ends of the supply lines to the hot and cold water supply valves. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten connections, ensuring a watertight seal. Do not overtighten.
  4. Install the Drain Assembly: Apply a thin bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the flange of the drain body. Insert the drain body into the sink drain hole. From underneath, attach the rubber washer, friction washer, and mounting nut to the drain body and tighten securely. Connect the P-trap to the drain tailpiece.
  5. Test for Leaks: Once all connections are made, slowly turn on the hot and cold water supply valves. Check all connections for leaks. If leaks are present, tighten the connections slightly until the leak stops.
