Familiarize yourself with the physical components of your device. Setup
1. Inserting SIM and microSD Cards
The HUAWEI P10 Plus supports dual SIM cards and a microSD card for expandable storage. The SIM card tray is located on the side of the device.
- Locate the SIM card tray on the left side of the phone.
- Insert the provided SIM eject tool into the small hole next to the tray to open it.
- Place your Nano-SIM card(s) and/or microSD card into the tray with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring they are correctly aligned.
- Gently push the tray back into the slot until it clicks into place.
2. Initial Power On and Setup Wizard
- Press and hold the Power button (located on the right side) until the HUAWEI logo appears.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup, which includes selecting your language, connecting to Wi-Fi, setting up your Google account, and configuring security features like fingerprint unlock.
3. Charging the Battery
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the device battery.
- Connect the charging cable to the USB-C port at the bottom of the phone.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the power adapter.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- The charging indicator will appear on the screen.
