Setup

Battery Installation

The TM-F2 requires two AAA alkaline batteries for operation. To install, open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators, and close the cover securely.

Connecting to Your Camera

Ensure your camera is turned off before connecting the remote. Locate the remote control terminal on your Sony camera (often labeled 'MULTI' or a similar symbol). Plug the connector of the intervalometer's cable firmly into this port. Once connected, you can turn on both the camera and the remote control.

Follow these steps to connect and operate your intervalometer: 1. Plug the connector into the camera remote socket. 2. Push the right side button to 'ON' to turn on the remote. 3. Set the time and number of photos needed. 4. Press 'START' for shooting.

Operating Instructions

The TM-F2 offers various modes for precise control over your photography. Use the directional buttons to navigate through settings and the 'SET' button to confirm.

Basic Shutter Release

For a single shot, press the main 'START/STOP' button halfway to focus, then press it fully to trigger the shutter. For continuous shooting or long exposures, press the 'START/STOP' button fully and slide it into the locked position. Ensure your camera is set to 'continuous shots' or 'Bulb' mode as appropriate.

Timer Functions

The intervalometer allows you to program specific delays, exposure times, intervals, and the number of shots. All settings can be adjusted from 1 second up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds.
