1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Sportstech X100-B Hometrainer. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your fitness equipment. The X100-B is designed for effective cardiovascular and strength training at home, featuring a dual resistance band system, an LCD console, a comfortable adjustable seat, and heart rate sensors. 2. Safety Information

  • Consult a physician before starting any new exercise program.
  • Ensure all parts are correctly assembled and tightened before use.
  • Keep children and pets away from the equipment during operation.
  • Place the hometrainer on a flat, stable surface.
  • Wear appropriate exercise clothing and footwear.
  • Do not exceed the maximum user weight of 100 kg.

4. Assembly Instructions

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. LCD Console

The large LCD console provides real-time feedback on your workout. It displays the following metrics:

  • Time: Duration of your workout.
  • Distance: Total distance covered.
  • Speed: Current cycling speed.
  • Calories: Estimated calories burned.
  • Heart Rate: Your pulse, measured via hand sensors.
  • Scan: Automatically cycles through all display functions.

The console is powered by 2 AA batteries (not included).

5.2. Resistance System

The X100-B features a stepless 2-way magnetic brake system and a 4 kg flywheel. This ensures a smooth, quiet, and efficient workout. Adjust the resistance level using the knob located on the main frame to suit your fitness level and training goals. There are 8 resistance levels available.

5.3. Heart Rate Sensors

Integrated hand pulse sensors on the handlebars allow you to monitor your heart rate during your workout. Grip the sensors firmly with both hands to get an accurate reading displayed on the LCD console. This helps in maintaining your target heart rate zone for effective cardiovascular training.

5.4. Power Ropes (Resistance Bands)

The intelligent dual resistance band system allows for simultaneous arm and upper body training while cycling. The power ropes are integrated with rotatable pulleys for natural movement sequences. Use them to strengthen your biceps, shoulders, and chest muscles, adding a 2-in-1 effect to your workout.

6. Adjustments

6.1. Seat Height Adjustment

The ergonomic comfort seat with padded, foldable backrest is adjustable in 4 steps. This allows users up to 185 cm in height to find a comfortable training position. Adjust the seat height by loosening the adjustment knob, sliding the seat to the desired position, and then securely tightening the knob.

6.2. Pedal Adjustment

The anti-slip pedals feature adjustable straps to secure your feet during exercise, ensuring safety and comfort. Adjust the straps to fit your footwear snugly.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your hometrainer:

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the equipment with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and moving parts for tightness and wear. Tighten any loose fasteners.
  • Lubrication: No specific lubrication is required for the magnetic resistance system.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace the console batteries (2 AA) when the display becomes dim or unresponsive.

8. Storage

The Sportstech X100-B features an Easy Fold System for convenient storage. Simply fold the bike to reduce its footprint to approximately 48x45 cm. Integrated transport wheels allow for easy relocation and storage in small spaces.

9. Troubleshooting

  • No display on console: Check if batteries are correctly inserted or need replacement.
  • Unstable operation: Ensure the hometrainer is on a flat surface and all stabilizing feet are adjusted. Check all assembly bolts for tightness.
  • Unusual noises: Inspect moving parts for any obstructions or loose components. Tighten as necessary.
  • Heart rate not displayed: Ensure hands are firmly gripping both pulse sensors. Skin contact is necessary for a reading.
