5. Operating Instructions
- Prepare Document: Place the document you wish to laminate inside a laminating pouch. Ensure the document is centered and leaves a small margin around the edges.
- Select Pouch Thickness: The Lunar+ A4 Laminator supports 80 and 125 micron laminating pouches. Ensure you are using the correct pouch thickness for your application.
- Feed Pouch: Once the laminator is ready (indicated by the light), insert the sealed edge of the laminating pouch into the feed opening. Feed the pouch straight and evenly. The laminator will automatically pull the pouch through.
- Lamination Process: The laminator will process the pouch at a speed of approximately 30 cm per minute. Do not pull or push the pouch during lamination.
- Retrieve Laminated Document: Once the pouch has fully exited the machine, carefully remove the laminated document. It may be warm, so handle with care. Place it on a flat surface to cool and flatten.
- Jam Release Mechanism: In case of a misfeed or jam, activate the jam release mechanism (usually a lever or button) to release the pressure on the rollers. This allows you to carefully pull out the misfed pouch. Realign the document in a new pouch if necessary and attempt lamination again.
- Power Off: After use, turn off the laminator using the power switch and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Ensure the laminator is unplugged and cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Roller Cleaning: Periodically run a laminator cleaning sheet (available separately) through the machine to remove adhesive residue from the rollers.
- Storage: Store the laminator in a clean, dry place when not in use.
7. Troubleshooting

| Laminated document is cloudy or has bubbles. | Incorrect temperature or pouch quality. | Ensure laminator is fully warmed up. Use high-quality laminating pouches. |
| Laminator is slow to warm up. | Normal operation. | Allow the specified 4 minutes for warm-up. |
