5.2. Storing Film

Store unused film packs in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Once loaded, keep the camera away from extreme heat or cold.

5.3. Battery Replacement

When the batteries are low, the camera's LED indicators may not light up correctly. Replace both AA batteries with new ones simultaneously to ensure proper function.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Instax Mini 9, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Camera does not turn on: Check if batteries are inserted correctly and are not depleted. Replace with new batteries if necessary.
  • Film does not eject: Ensure a film pack is loaded correctly and the black cover sheet has been ejected. Check the film counter.
  • Photos are too dark/light: Verify that the exposure mode dial is set to the recommended position indicated by the flashing LED. Avoid shooting in extremely dark or bright conditions without proper adjustment.
  • Flash does not fire: The flash is automatic and always fires. If it's not working, check battery levels.
  • Blurred images: Ensure the subject is within the recommended focus range (0.6m to infinity, or 35-50cm with close-up lens). Hold the camera steady while shooting.
