Introduction

The PC101 Water Quality Tester is designed for quick and accurate measurement of pH and Chlorine (CL2) levels in swimming pools, aquariums, and spas. This device provides instant readings, eliminating the need for complex color matching charts. It is an essential tool for maintaining optimal water quality.

Setup

  1. Battery Installation: The PC101 requires one (1) AA 1.5V Alkaline battery (not included). Open the battery compartment, insert the battery with correct polarity, and close the compartment securely.
  2. Probe Connection: Ensure the probe is securely connected to the main unit.
  3. Initial Adjustment (Chlorine): Before testing chlorine levels, the meter must be adjusted to the "adjustment point." Refer to the operating instructions for detailed steps on this calibration.

Operating Instructions

General Usage Notes:

Testing Chlorine (CL2) Level:

  1. Preparation: Ensure the unit is powered on and the probe is clean.
  2. Adjustment: Before each chlorine test, adjust the meter to the "adjustment point" as indicated on the device. This typically involves placing the probe in a known solution or following a specific procedure outlined on the device itself (often a dial or switch).
  3. Immersion: Carefully immerse the probe into the water you wish to test (pool, spa, aquarium).
  4. Reading: Wait for the reading to stabilize on the large screen. The safe measure range for Chlorine Level is 1.2 to 1.7 ppm.

Testing pH Level:

  1. Preparation: Ensure the unit is powered on and the probe is clean.
  2. Immersion: Carefully immerse the probe into the water you wish to test.
  3. Reading: Wait for the reading to stabilize on the large screen. The safe measure range for pH Level is 7.2 to 7.8.
