Setup and First Use

Battery Installation and Charging

The Polysteel 600R offers dual power options: a rechargeable ZITHION-X™ lithium-ion battery pack or 4xAA alkaline batteries. To install the rechargeable battery pack, unscrew the tail cap and insert the pack with the positive (+) terminal facing the head of the flashlight. For alkaline batteries, use the provided adapter and insert 4xAA batteries according to the polarity indicators.

To charge the ZITHION-X™ battery pack, connect the included USB charging cable to the micro-USB port on the battery pack and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port). The charging indicator light will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 40 hours of runtime, with a typical charging time of approximately 5.75 hours.

Operation

Power On/Off and Mode Selection

The Polysteel 600R features a Quick-Cycle Power Switch located at the tail cap. Press the switch once to turn the flashlight on. To cycle through the available light modes (High, Medium, Low), quickly press the switch repeatedly. To turn the flashlight off, press and hold the switch for approximately 1 second, or cycle through all modes until it turns off.

Focusing the Beam (PURE BEAM® Optical System & TWIST FOCUS™)

The flashlight is equipped with TWIST FOCUS™ technology, allowing you to seamlessly transition between two distinct beam types: the Ultra View Flood Beam and the BULLS-EYE™ Spot Beam. To adjust the focus, simply twist the head of the flashlight. Twist one way for a broad, even floodlight, and the other way for a concentrated spot beam with a bright center.
