2. Receiver Connection

  1. Power Connection: Plug the USB receiver into any standard USB power port. This can be a USB port on a computer, mixer, amplifier, or a USB wall adapter. The receiver will draw power from this connection.
  2. Audio Output Connection:
    • For 1/4" microphone inputs: Use the supplied 1/8" to 1/4" cable. Connect the 1/8" end to the receiver's output jack and the 1/4" end to your audio device's microphone input.
    • For 1/8" microphone inputs: Use the supplied 1/8" to 1/8" cable. Connect one end to the receiver's output jack and the other end to your audio device's microphone input.
  3. USB Passthrough (Optional): If your USB power source is limited, you can connect another USB device (e.g., a USB drive) to the female USB port on the receiver. This allows the receiver to share the USB port without losing its functionality for the connected device.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Once the receiver is connected and powered, switch the microphone's power button to the "ON" position. An indicator light on the microphone should illuminate.
  2. Volume Adjustment: Adjust the volume on your connected audio device (speaker, mixer, computer) to a suitable level. Start with a low volume and gradually increase it to avoid sudden loud noises.
  3. Testing: Speak or sing into the microphone to test the audio output. Ensure the sound is clear and free of interference.
  4. Optimal Usage: For best sound quality, hold the microphone approximately 2-6 inches (5-15 cm) from your mouth. Avoid covering the microphone grille with your hand.
  5. Power Off: When finished, switch the microphone to the "OFF" position. It is also recommended to unplug the USB receiver when not in use.
