1. Microphone Battery Installation
- Unscrew the bottom part of the handheld microphone.

2. Receiver Connection
- Power Connection: Plug the USB receiver into any standard USB power port. This can be a USB port on a computer, mixer, amplifier, or a USB wall adapter. The receiver will draw power from this connection.
- Audio Output Connection:
- For 1/4" microphone inputs: Use the supplied 1/8" to 1/4" cable. Connect the 1/8" end to the receiver's output jack and the 1/4" end to your audio device's microphone input.
- For 1/8" microphone inputs: Use the supplied 1/8" to 1/8" cable. Connect one end to the receiver's output jack and the other end to your audio device's microphone input.
- USB Passthrough (Optional): If your USB power source is limited, you can connect another USB device (e.g., a USB drive) to the female USB port on the receiver. This allows the receiver to share the USB port without losing its functionality for the connected device.

Operating Instructions
- Power On: Once the receiver is connected and powered, switch the microphone's power button to the "ON" position. An indicator light on the microphone should illuminate.
- Volume Adjustment: Adjust the volume on your connected audio device (speaker, mixer, computer) to a suitable level. Start with a low volume and gradually increase it to avoid sudden loud noises.
- Testing: Speak or sing into the microphone to test the audio output. Ensure the sound is clear and free of interference.
- Optimal Usage: For best sound quality, hold the microphone approximately 2-6 inches (5-15 cm) from your mouth. Avoid covering the microphone grille with your hand.
- Power Off: When finished, switch the microphone to the "OFF" position. It is also recommended to unplug the USB receiver when not in use.
